Fall 2018 FAB 50 Team 1 & 2

PHOTO'S COMING SOON

TEAM 1
       Coach Levi Beckwith

#7
Bryce Johnson
Loganville, GA
5ft 7in 2022

Bryce is a FAB 50 Camp Freshman 3rd Team Selection. He does a good job getting the ball to his teammates. He's a quick one, with footwork to match. Coach Beckwith states that Bryce will continue to improve his ability to shoot from the outside as he gets stronger. Bryce passes well and has an uncanny is able to find open players. He seems to always be looking ahead. We were surprised that he used some post moves and finished as good as he did when close to the goal. Bryce needs to perfect his floater to help him because he penetrates with ease. Small in stature but Big in game. Loganville you got a baller on your hands.

#9
Keeshawn Leach
Raleigh NC
6ft 3in 2022

Keeshawn is a FAB 50 Camp Sophomore 1st Team Selection. Coach Beckwith shared that Keeshawn is an excellent passer and he doesn't have a problem with looking for his teammates. When opportunity presented it's self he stepped outside and he shot the ball well from there too. Keeshawn rebounds well which adds to his all around game. He can give any team a lift. He's a stat filler. He's new school Georgia Tech's Matt Harpring with a knack for scoring. Can go either way but needs to work on his off hand a little more. When he gets that down...Look Out!

#18
Justin Fillyaw
Wendell, NC
5ft 9in 2022

Justin worked on both ends of the floor. Coach Beckwith says he moves well in transition. In the half court offense he got by his defender often and made most of the baskets. Justin plays aggressive on D without outside influence. Coach also says that Justin is a good teammate and is open to being coached which he liked. He didn't score much but shows he has the ability to do so from the post or perimeter. Justin did a good job at this camp. But, he has potential for growth in size and in game.

#23
Devin Oliver
Oxford, NC
4ft 8in 2023

Devin is an very good ball handler & passer and is able to find the open players in transition. Coach Beckwith says that Devin can get to places that others can't get to. He has a large array of basketball abilities. Some natural talent. Others you can tell he put in the extra work. Devin is an good shooter from mid range to deep range. We suggest not leaving him open or you'll find out. He has the heart to take the big shot when his team needs him to. He gave maximum effort today. Devin was one of a few 8th graders that was nominated to our FAB 50 Freshman/Sophomore Camp. Funny thing is he is only scratching the surface of his game. At only 4 foot 8 inches he plays bigger & works harder than guys 6 feet.

#29
Joshua Johnson
Garner, NC
5ft 8in 2022

Joshua did a good job hustling on the court. Coach Beckwith shared that Joshua moves the ball and finishes well at the basket. Even over larger defenders. Joshua shot the ball good from inside the arc but needs to improve his outside shooting. He really surprised us with his enthusiasm for rebounding. Joshua is a very capable ball-handler with out all needless dribbling you see some guys do at his age. I would like to see him move his feet more on defense. But that is common for young players. We can't wait to see his maturation.

#40

Will Nepa
Raleigh, NC
5ft 10in 2021

Will was one of our first FAB 50 2018 Camp nominees. Coach Beckwith stated that Will is an excellent shooter. He really does a good job of moving without the ball to get quality shots. Seems like everything he shot dropped. He is a willing passer to the open man especially when driving to the hoop. Will does a good job of understanding and playing help side defense which is rare for players these days. He should continue to improve his penetration game as he has a quick first step. Up and coming PG, don't lose site of this guy!

#52
Tyshawn Thorpe
Oxford, NC
5ft 9in 2023

Tyshawn has a great attitude. One of the reasons he was one of a hand full of 8th graders nominated to our FAB Camp for Freshman and Sophomores. He was hurt during the first game, but Coach Beckwith liked how he came back and fought through the game. Has the heart of a Lion. Our athletic trainer said he should take it easy if he played and he, in turn, went as far as his ability could carry him and then some. Great rebounder and defensive player. But he's an even better teammate and person. Look out for this young guy, he has something to prove.

#68
Joshua Reese Evans
Cary, NC
6ft 1in

We called Joshua "Reese" because we had two Joshua's on the same team. Evan's is an athletic guard with a lot of upside. Coach Beckwith said that Reese has the ability to penetrate and finish when he gets by his man. Dumped off some nice passes underneath for some good assists. He's a strong rebounder and willing to give up his body to do so. His team had gotten some extra offensive possessions because of his efforts.

#90
Qunicy Pugh
Apex, NC
6ft 2in 2021

Quincy does a great job moving without the ball and being available for his teammates to pass to him for easy scoring opportunities. He knows how to get open, which is a great skill to have at any age. Coach Beckwith said that he showed some range with his three point shot. We were excited to see how well of a defender he is, particularly in transition. He is an excellent teammate and his teammates appreciate his rebounding efforts. Quincy goes hard from start to finish. Good upside, be sure to watch out for this player!

#95
David Cuttino
Concord, NC
6ft 2021

David is a FAB 50 Camp Sophomore 2nd Team Selection. He went to the basket very well, finishing and kicking the ball out on the break." says Coach Beckwith. His lay ups are on 90! (Video Game Reference). David's passing skills in transition are above average and he also does a good job finding the open space to get his own shot off. He has a firm understanding of the game for his experience level: this translates to a high basketball IQ. David is a very unselfish player and a good teammate. If he was a Charlotte Metro Area sleeper, he's not anymore. The word is out. We expect to hear a lot more about Cuttino!

                                                                                         TEAM 2
Coach Toni Farrar

#7
Melique Hambrick
Chattanooga,Tennessee.
5ft 3in 20221

This is what Coach Toni had about Melique. Melique proved to be a good team player. He hustles and passes the ball well. He is a solid player. He penetrates and then finished at the basket. Defensively, he is good on and off the ball. On the court he shows a lot of heart and plays with intensity. We tend to like guys who are willing to go get it...He's one of those guys. We will be keeping an eye out for Melique!

#8
Issac Jones
Magnolia, Delaware
5ft 8in 2021

Next on the list is Issac. Issac has a good basketball IQ. He listens to instruction and gives 100%. Coach Toni shared that His overall performance was great and that he is a team player. Issac handles well in the open court but needs to work on handling in traffic without being fancy. He's the type of player that most coaches would like to have on their team. He plays D, he communicates, & he has offensive skill. Already a good player should develop into a better one.

#9
Rahson Leach
Raleigh, NC
6ft 1in 2021

Coach Toni was very excited about Rashaun as he proves to have a good IQ for the game. He has good court vision and ball handling skills. His teammates weren't always ready for his passes at time. He was a little higher on the anticipation of when to pass the ball. Has a has flare and swagger. That is definitely confidence and boarder line arrogance. Which fits his personality and his game. He has a pretty good shot and he can move without the ball. He reminds us of a Dee Brown (Illinios Fighting Illini). Rashaun is one to keep your eye on.

#14
Marquis Oliphant
Charlotte, NC
5ft 6in 2023

Marquis has the ability to penetrate and finish at the basket. He has a good looking shot and he can stroke it from beyond the arc. He has great ball handling skills and foot work to match his court vision. He is quick, lightining fast and great defensively even verses taller players.Marquis is an eigth grader which means he shown us enough skills to warrant a nomination to the camp. He has a lot of upside.

#22
Jamison Graves
Elon, NC
5ft 9in 2022

Jamison shows good team effort and moves well without the ball. Playing with his back to basket and using his off hand need some improvement. Defensively he could be better playing on the ball. Coach Toni states that Jamison has a great attitude and accepts criticism well. He shows great potential and hustles. Overall he had a good performance and good court presence. We are going to be monitoring Graves' progress.

#29
Andre Reaves
Pinehurst, NC
5ft 10in 2022

Andre is a great team player. His attitude is great as a player. He has a good basketball IQ. When it comes to the game, Andre hustles and showed excellent effort from the begining to the end. He was one of the best shooting off the dribble in the camp. Caches the ball in his shot pocket. So, he was already locked, loaded and ready to fire. When he caught he ball. His ability to finish at the basket is pretty good. Coach Toni loves his presence and his intensity for the game. We will love to see what else Andre has in store.

#41
Omahj Evans
Kittrell, NC
6ft 2021

Coach Toni stated that Evans has a great attitude and overall performance. His basketball IQ is above average for his skill set. He has good penetration ability and the ability to finish at the basket. He cleaned up rebounds even on the offensive end. These are the things we ask players to do, but only a few care to go after. He is a outstanding team player and shows great effort on both ends of the court. We are excited that he landed on our radar.

#49
Olumuyiwa Salako
Clayton, DE
6ft 2in 2021

Olumuyinwa Salako is a rebounding machine. He goes after every board. He also hustles for loose balls. Coach Toni says, "This player goes all out. I wish we had 5 players just like him."  Defensively he is great on and off the ball and when you add in his transition defensive IQ you have a stopper. He moves good without the ball on offense. He also has good court vision. When we say high motor about Olumyuyiwa. We could probably say he has two motors...two motors that wont quit. We are going to make a few of his school games.

#54
Trey Voshell
Camden, DE
5ft 9in 2022

Another one of Coach Toni players from the camp that was showing his skills was Trey Voshell. Trey showed that he knows the game. He has a great attitude and penetration ability. He moves without the ball well and hustles on the court. When he didn't have the ball he set picks for the ball handler, then set screens and back picks for his teammates. He shot the ball ok today, but we could tell, by his form, that he has the potential to shoot it better. His overall performance was good.

#57
Nate Willis
Knightdale, NC
6ft 3in 2021

Nate is a solid player. He has a great attitude. He plays with intensity. He is pretty good at penetrating and finishing at the basket. He has decent ball handling skills and decent court vision. He can catch the ball and shoot off the dribble. Coach Toni said that Nate listens to instruction and he has a lot of heart. His overall performance was great. He is a great player to have on the team!
