Nicolas Overby
5'11'', Shooting guard
Nicolas has a chance to be a special player. He plays much older than his age and changes will occur in his game when he continues to play with older and stronger players. This young man has the potential to be great and should be working towards his dreams. If he dedicates his self to his craft, he can earn a spot on a varsity level team and earn playing time. The future looks very bright for Nicholas as long as he continues to grow and learn.
#2
Jaden Rice
5'3'', Point guard
Jaden's leadership and elite quickness are his strengths. He plays the game like a young man 6'2" or 6'3" with his ability to rebound, defend different size players and his want of rebounding and diving for loose balls. But of course being 5'3", Jaden must be the fastest, toughest, most talkative person on the floor, always playing with a chip on his shoulders.
#3
Carl Roberts
5'10", Shooting guard
Carl's energy and effort are his strengths that he needs to continue to display. He is a tough kid that needs to be more aggressive on the offensive end. He is sometimes passive and does not take over when he has the ability to. Talking and being assertive should be two things he should want to work on because it is clear that he works on the parts of the game that helps him score the ball.
#4
Aaron Faison
5'9", Shooting guard
Aaron can and does have effort, but he does not always play with it. He needs to continue to play with players bigger and older to make his battle and play hard the entire time. Aaron could easily be a team's best player, but he holds himself back by quitting on plays. He needs to play hard all the time with his quickness, he should be a lockdown defender and super energy guy. Its in there, he just needs to bring it out!
#5
Ja'tez Ward
5'6", Point guard
Ja'tez needs to be out on the court going against bigger, older kids to keep his competitive spirit up. The kid can play but if he is not guarding who he thinks is a good player, he will let that player go by him or cut to be wide open for a easy score. He can get to the rim with his quickness and passes the ball well, but he needs to continue to go against bigger guys so he gets used to have the confidence to attack them.
#6
Will Rhodes
6'0", Combo
Love Will's energy and effort and the way he plays the game. He is a coaches dream and needs to continue to work on everthing. He is doing it right but he needs to become an elite shooter. He needs to be the Duncan Robinson of every team he plays on from here on out. The shooting with the other gifts will earn him an opportunity to play in college.
#7
Jonathan Williams
6'1", Small Forward
Jonathan is a tough, hard nosed kid that is a great teammate. Jonathan needs to become an elite shooter at his size to play at the next level. He plays hard defends and rebounds the ball with a passion, but his shooting will be what decides it for him. He can do it!!!
#8
Matthew Kuenig
6'3", Small Forward
Matthew has a very consistent jumpshot with a very nice release point. His form and release point helps him put good rotation on the ball which benefits his jumpshot. When playing defense, he could elevate his game even more by quickly guarding someone in transition. Also, Matthew must up in transition be able to handle the basketball under pressure going in either direction. So, working on his left hand dribbling is a must. I can tell his level of play improves with him making shots, but he will play more and have a chance to contribute if he can become a better defender.
